Arts bring learning to life. A few minutes spent using arts to teach a concept will save hours of rote drill.

Engaging the whole child through the arts cements a concept--most likely for life. It's a concept that can be accessed again and again.

These fifth-graders drawing city perspectives from space on the sidewalk discovered new ways to think about space travel. The lesson, covering more than one-point perspective, took only 30 minutes. Just imagine the range of concepts they learned! Everyone using the sidewalk discovered new perspectives as well.
